OpenVault Secures New Deals with 6 Cable Operators

NCTC helps drive awareness for OpenVault’s broadband analytics and usage based billing solutions

Wayne, NJ; Lenexa, KS; Wednesday, October 17, 2012— OpenVault, the leading provider of service-based real- time usage, data, and analytics solutions for Multiple System Operators (MSOs), announced today that in the past two months it has closed deals with six North American operators.

OpenVault’s suite of Data Analytics, Usage Based Billing and PCMM Policy products deliver valuable subscriber usage information and controls.  With OpenVault’s solutions operators can better manage their limited resources while helping to enhance customer satisfaction by improving service quality and providing an online tool for customers to gain valuable insight into their broadband experience.

Mark Trudeau, CEO of OpenVault, stated, “It is clear that the broadband market is changing. Most MSOs are looking closely at supporting usage-based broadband services, along with ways to better understand and communicate with subscribers about their data consumption. OpenVault’s solutions address these needs, and our partnership with NCTC has helped drive awareness and sales among its members through an easy to use online ordering system that allows operators to quickly onboard OpenVault’s cloud-based solution.”

OpenVault recently launched a series of informative webinars sponsored by NCTC that can be viewed by NCTC members.  Each one addresses a different issue related to subscriber analytics and usage based billing. The next session will be held on October 30th at 4:00pm Eastern. Archived recordings of these webcasts can also be viewed at www.openvault.com.

“This is an important issue in our industry, and OpenVault is leading the way.  Educating our operator members about this issue is a high priority for NCTC,” stated Doug Hull, Senior Director of Marketing and Member Services at NCTC. “MSOs need to be able to make informed decisions about how to price and deliver broadband services. We advocate leveraging proven tools that are readily available in the market today; tools that can help our members remain competitive, provide a better quality of service, and optimize their business. OpenVault fits this profile beautifully.”
