  Job Summary: 

OpenVault is interested in a top-notch, seasoned Python software developer with a solid foundation in object-oriented programming, multithreaded software architecture and data base design. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and optimizing core algorithms and software modules used for network monitoring and optimization.

Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Solid Python development skills (5+ years)
  • Develop and maintain back-end web applications using Python and Django
  • Knowledge of Object-oriented design, multithreading, and ability to write highly performant code.
  • Experience with Cassandra, Postgres, etc., and a good understanding of SQL programming.
  • Prior hands-on experience in developing microservices and K8s-based deployment in private cloud and AWS.
  • Knowledge of analytics, machine learning, and statistical approaches to develop novel algorithms.
  • Must have demonstrated expertise in using Pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, etc.
  • Prior experience with Cable and Telco products would be a huge plus. Knowledge of DOCSIS, CMTS, Cable modems, and scalable data collection using various polling-based and streaming protocols will be preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Job Summary: 

We are looking for an experienced Database Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on expertise in database engineering, especially in managing and optimizing Cassandra, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Druid databases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database architecture, design, and performance tuning, and will work closely with our engineering and data teams to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our database infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

OpenVault is seeking a new member for its Engineering team based at the Jersey City, NJ, USA headquarters located directly across the Hudson River from New York City. The individual selected will directly shape the portfolio and product life cycle of OpenVault’s broadband solutions by working to enhance the orchestration of new and existing software solutions and associated processes. The individual will work closely with existing engineering, operations and management members to ensure solution alignment with OpenVault’s strategic vision and objectives. The QA Engineer will work to optimize existing and develop new processes and tools to enhance automated testing, versioning and development processes in alignment with existing product solutions, customer need and future product roadmaps.  To be successful in this role, the QA Engineer will need to fuse their in-depth understanding of CI, automated testing and engineering disciplines with OpenVault’s broadband portfolio which encompasses network optimization, revenue generation, and customer engagement solutions.
